Lockey Model M210 White Finish. Lockey Original Digital Door Locks are bump proof, mechanical, keyless entry locks which do not require wires, batteries or electricity. These locks are perfect for new doors and easily replace existing hardware on your current doors. They provide keyless security, are easy to install and use, fit most doors and are weather resistant. Covers a standard 2 1/8" hole. Fits all doors 1 3/8" to 2". 2 3/8" - 2 3/4" adjustable deadbolt. For right or left handed doors-changeable handling. Combination can be changed. Dimensions: LOCK ONLY 4 7/8" X 1 7/16" X 1 3/4". TOTAL LOCK dimensions with trim plates 5 5/8" X 2 1/2". This is the same deadbolt as the Lockey 2000-different manufacturer packaging.... This lock to me is more desirable than the electrical operated locks that require batteries to operate in that when batteries fail, you may not have access to your key to open the lock so electrical locks still require you to carry a key although you may never use it. This lock is completely mechanical in that you can set the combination in up to six numbers to your choosing. Setting the combination is very easy for anyone to do as long as they can read and have a phillips screwdriver. The kit even provides a small pincher to pick up the pins (the pins that represent the numbers in the combination are different than the ones that do not operate the combination).
The mounting of the lock does require drilling holes in the door, even a non-virgin door. A template is provided. In a retrofit, where a deadbolt has been installed and a large hole is already present is NOT an ideal mounting proposition for this lock. The hole may or may not be completely covered by this lock, it is depending on the size of the original lock hole. Even if it is covered it will leak air around it. So be prepared to be disappointed if this locks does not fit.
So, if you purchase this lock for a virgin door, I would give this easily a 5 star rating. If you purchase this for a non-virgin door, I would give it a one star.
